Introduction

TFORMer SDK provides the core output functionality of the TFORMer product family for applications and automated workflows. For programming guides, API references, and samples, see Reference and Manual Links.

TFORMer 9

The TFORMer product family provides document generation from graphical layouts and dynamic data. TFORMer can generate barcodes from document data and layout configuration, supports Unicode text, produces file output such as PDF, and supports stream-based output through programming interfaces.

Using the TFORMer SDK

Use TFORMer SDK in client-side or server-side applications on supported Windows and Linux systems. Use the SDK package released for the target platform and architecture.

Output consistency depends on the selected output format, device capabilities, and available fonts.

Areas of Application

Typical applications include:

• Reporting Engine Let end users create and edit forms and labels in TFORMer Designer, then print them from your application with TFORMer SDK.

• PDF Generation Produce PDF documents from graphical form layouts and runtime data.

• Industrial Printing
  Generate barcode labels from document data and layout configuration.

• Client- or Server-based Reporting
  Generate printer or file output in desktop and server-side integrations.

• Serial Documents
  Generate serial documents from record-based runtime data.

Generating Output
