Core Output Workflow
TFORMer separates the form layout from its dynamic data. Desktop, automated, and server-side integrations use the same basic workflow below; the selected API or TFPrint provides the concrete calls or commands.
Prerequisite
Create and save the required form layout with TFORMer Designer before generating output.
Generate Output
To generate output with TFORMer:
- Select the layout. Use a stand-alone TFF form layout, or identify a repository together with its project and form.
- Provide the data. Supply the dynamic values required by the layout through the selected interface or data source. If the job does not supply data, it can use the default data associated with the layout; for a stand-alone form layout, this can be its associated default data file.
- Choose the output. Select the output type (how TFORMer produces the document) and destination (where it sends the result, such as a printer or an output file), or use the configured default output.
- Generate the file or print the document.
If needed, set Output Options before generating output, for example to change image resolution or paper size.
