TecUnzipper_Alloc

ZIP and BASE64 Handling · String encodings

Definition

Windows: ANSI; Unix: UTF-8

HTUNZIPPER TecUnzipper_Alloc(LPCSTR pszFilename);

Windows only: UTF-16

HTUNZIPPER TecUnzipper_AllocW(LPCWSTR pszFilename);

Contract

Allocate a new unzipper handle.

The helper accepts the following inputs:

  • Plain file names (*.tfr, *.tff, *.xml)

  • Zipped files (zipped *.tfr, zipped *.tff, ...)

  • BASE64 encoded strings containing plain or zip files (in such a case the string must start with BASE64:)

Use the TecUnzipper functions to decode or extract the input explicitly, then pass the resulting filenames to the SDK. For SDK inputs that decode or extract files automatically, see Passing Files. This support does not apply to every filename parameter.

This function may be changed in the future.

Note

Free allocated memory with TecUnzipper_Free after use.

Returns

A valid handle or NULL if the handle could not be allocated

Parameters

Parameter / typeDescription
pszFilenameLPCSTR / LPCWSTR

The filename of a valid zip file or a BASE64 encoded string (e.g. BASE64:h/5tzWP$378jdfh...)
