Properties, Methods, Enumerations
General
The object properties and methods are defined and described in
ITBarCodeBase and
ITBarCodeBase is just a base class of ITBarCode . In your code you will only have to use ITBarCode because it inherits all other properties.
The TBarCode properties are essentially identical to the properties that are shown in the property pages. Please have a look a the TBarCode User Manual. It contains some practical examples which illustrate the use of the most important properties.
For practically all applications you will need the properties and BarCode to set the barcode symbology and Text to set the barcode data.
Other important methods are LicenseMe, BCDraw, SaveImage and ConvertToStream.
Note
Visual Basic and other development environments offer additional standard properties and standard methods for ActiveX Controls (or COM objects). For example: Container, DataField, DragIcon, SetFocus(), Move(), etc. These properties/methods are not described in this documentation.
Enumerations
TBarCode uses several enumerations that define names for barcode symbologies, check digit methods, and more. A complete list can be found in TBarCode11Lib.
Web Applications
TBarCode offers two special methods for web applications:
With these methods it is easy to integrate barcodes into ASP (Active Server Pages), ASP.Net, PHP (PHP Hypertext Preprocessor) or other web applications.

The methods ConvertToStream and ConvertToStreamEx are available only in connection with a Developer- or Web-License (but can be tested within the demo version).
